Comparison review
The Huawei Mate 20 is a little bit better than Xiaomi Mi Max, having a score of 79.5 against 77.5. Even though the Huawei Mate 20 is a little thicker than the Xiaomi Mi Max, it's a bit lighter and also incredibly newer. Huawei Mate 20 has a much better looking display than Xiaomi Mi Max, because it has a slightly better 1080 x 2244 pixels resolution, a bit higher pixel density and a little bit bigger screen.
Xiaomi Mi Max counts with a very superior storage to install games and applications than Huawei Mate 20, and although they both have the same internal memory capacity, the Xiaomi Mi Max also has an external memory card slot that supports up to 256 GB. The Huawei Mate 20 counts with just a bit better hardware performance than Xiaomi Mi Max. They have 4 GB of RAM and the same number of cores.
Huawei Mate 20 has a slightly better camera than Xiaomi Mi Max, because although it has a lot lower 12 MP resolution back-facing camera and a lower 3840x2160 video definition, it also counts with a bigger camera aperture to capture better low-light photos and videos. The Xiaomi Mi Max has improved battery performance than Huawei Mate 20, because it has a 21 percent larger battery size.
