Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi Max has a global score of 77.5, which is slightly better than Huawei nova 3's overall score of 76.3. Although it's the best cellphone we compare here, the Xiaomi Mi Max body is older, heavier and just a bit thicker than the Huawei nova 3. The Huawei nova 3 features a bit more powerful CPU than Xiaomi Mi Max, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Huawei nova 3 also has a higher amount of RAM.
Huawei nova 3 features a bit better looking screen than Xiaomi Mi Max, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a slightly higher 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution and a little bit more pixels per inch of display. Huawei nova 3 has as much storage for games and applications as the Xiaomi Mi Max one, both have a slot for external memory cards that supports a maximum of 256 GB and the same 128 GB internal storage capacity.
The Huawei nova 3 shoots slightly better pictures and videos than Xiaomi Mi Max, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality, the same video frame rates and a back-facing camera with a 16 mega-pixels, the Huawei nova 3 also has a larger aperture to take better low-light photography.
The Xiaomi Mi Max has improved battery lifetime than Huawei nova 3, because it has a 29 percent larger battery capacity.
