The Huawei P40 is better than Xiaomi Mi Max, getting an 86.4 score against 77.5. Huawei P40's design is way newer and somewhat lighter, but also just a bit thicker than Xiaomi Mi Max. Huawei P40 features a little bit better performance than Xiaomi Mi Max, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Huawei P40 also has more RAM memory.
Huawei P40 has a bit more vivid display than Xiaomi Mi Max, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a quite higher pixel number per display inch and a slightly better resolution of 1080 x 2340px.
