Huawei P40 lite 5G has a general score of 83.4, which is a little bit better than Xiaomi Mi Max's 77.5 global score. Even though Huawei P40 lite 5G is somewhat thicker than Xiaomi Mi Max, it's a bit lighter and incredibly newer. The Huawei P40 lite 5G features a bit faster processing unit than Xiaomi Mi Max, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Huawei P40 lite 5G also has 2 GB more RAM.
The Huawei P40 lite 5G features a bit better display than Xiaomi Mi Max, because it has a just a bit more pixels per screen inch, a little bigger display and a quite better resolution of 1080 x 2400. The Xiaomi Mi Max counts with a superior memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Huawei P40 lite 5G, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal storage, the Xiaomi Mi Max also has a slot for external memory cards that holds a maximum of 256 GB.
Xiaomi Mi Max counts with better battery lifetime than Huawei P40 lite 5G, because it has 4850mAh of battery capacity instead of 4000mAh. Huawei P40 lite 5G captures better photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi Max, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 video definition, the Huawei P40 lite 5G also has a much better resolution back facing camera and a bigger camera aperture.
