Comparison review
The Huawei P40 Pro is better than Xiaomi Mi Max, getting an 88.2 score against 77.5. Although the Huawei P40 Pro is way newer than the Xiaomi Mi Max, it is a bit heavier and somewhat thicker. Huawei P40 Pro has a little bit better screen than Xiaomi Mi Max, because it has a little bigger display, a higher pixel amount in each inch of screen and a better 1200 x 2640 resolution.
Xiaomi Mi Max counts with a very superior memory capacity for games and applications than Huawei P40 Pro, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage, the Xiaomi Mi Max also has a slot for external memory cards that allows up to 256 GB. Huawei P40 Pro has a bit more powerful CPU than Xiaomi Mi Max, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Huawei P40 Pro also has 4 GB more RAM memory.
Huawei P40 Pro captures much better photographs and videos than Xiaomi Mi Max, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Huawei P40 Pro also has a lot more megapixels camera, higher video frame rate and a larger aperture to capture better low-light photos and video.
The Xiaomi Mi Max counts with just a little bit longer battery duration than Huawei P40 Pro, because it has a 4850mAh battery capacity.
