Comparison review
LG Velvet has an overall score of 87.1, which is much better than Xiaomi Mi Max's global score of 77.5. The LG Velvet is a newer and somewhat lighter phone than Xiaomi Mi Max, although it is also just a bit thicker. The LG Velvet has a little bit better processing power than Xiaomi Mi Max, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the LG Velvet also has a higher amount of RAM.
LG Velvet counts with just a bit better display than Xiaomi Mi Max, because it has a little bit bigger screen, a bit higher 1080 x 2460 pixels resolution and a just a bit higher pixel count per inch in the screen. LG Velvet features a much greater storage capacity for apps and games than Xiaomi Mi Max, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal storage, the LG Velvet also has a slot for an external memory card that admits up to 1,95 TB.
Xiaomi Mi Max has a little better battery duration than LG Velvet, because it has a 4850mAh battery size. LG Velvet shoots better photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi Max, and although they both have the same (4K) video resolution and the same video frame rates, the LG Velvet also has a larger camera aperture to capture better low-light images and video and a way more megapixels back facing camera.
