Comparison review
Galaxy A42 is much better than the Xiaomi Mi Max, with an 87 score against 77.5. Galaxy A42 is a a lot newer and a little lighter phone than Xiaomi Mi Max, but it's also somewhat thicker. The Galaxy A42 counts with a bit superior processing unit than Xiaomi Mi Max. They have 4 GB of RAM and the same number of cores.
The Xiaomi Mi Max counts with a little more vivid display than Galaxy A42, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a better amount of pixels per display inch and a better 1080 x 1920 resolution. The Galaxy A42 takes much better photographs and videos than Xiaomi Mi Max, and although they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Galaxy A42 also has a bigger aperture to take better photos and videos in poorly lited environments and a back camera with a much better resolution.
The Galaxy A42 has a bigger storage for apps and games than Xiaomi Mi Max, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal storage capacity, the Galaxy A42 also has a SD memory slot that allows a maximum of 1000 GB. Galaxy A42 has just a bit longer battery life than Xiaomi Mi Max, because it has a 3% more battery size.
