Xiaomi Mi Max has an overall score of 77.5, which is a little bit better than Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017)'s 75.8 overall score. Xiaomi Mi Max's body is a little bit thinner but just a bit heavier than Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017), and they were released only a couple months apart. Galaxy A7 (2017) features a bit faster processor than Xiaomi Mi Max, although it has a smaller amount of RAM, they both have 8 processing cores.
The Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017) has a little bit better looking screen than Xiaomi Mi Max, because although it has a quite smaller screen, and they both have exactly the same 1080 x 1920 resolution, the Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017) also counts with a bit greater number of pixels in each inch in the screen.
Xiaomi Mi Max has just a bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017), because although it has a tinier aperture which is not so good for low-light photography and video, and they both have a camera in the back with a 16 megapixels, the Xiaomi Mi Max also counts with a lot higher 3840x2160 video definition.
