Comparison review
The Xiaomi Mi Max is just a bit better than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, having a general score of 77.5 against 76.3. Xiaomi Mi Max's design is way heavier and thicker than the Samsung Galaxy Alpha. Galaxy Alpha features a little more vivid screen than Xiaomi Mi Max, although it has a lot smaller display, a bit worse pixels amount per display inch and a way lower 1280 x 720 resolution.
Samsung Galaxy Alpha has just a bit better hardware performance than Xiaomi Mi Max, because although it has 4 lesser cpu cores (but faster) and lesser RAM, it also counts with a graphics processor. Xiaomi Mi Max takes just a bit better videos and photos than Galaxy Alpha, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the Xiaomi Mi Max also has a larger aperture for better images and video in low-light situations and a much more mega-pixels back camera.
Xiaomi Mi Max counts with a very superior memory to install games and applications than Galaxy Alpha, because it has 128 GB internal memory and an external SD slot that holds up to 256 GB. Xiaomi Mi Max has a way better battery performance than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, because it has a 161% more battery capacity.
