Samsung Galaxy Note 5 has an overall score of 79.3, which is a bit better than Xiaomi Mi Max's 77.5 score. Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is a lighter device than the Xiaomi Mi Max, but they are 0.3inches thick. Samsung Galaxy Note 5 has an incredibly better looking screen than Xiaomi Mi Max, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a higher resolution of 2560 x 1440 and a better pixel density.
Xiaomi Mi Max counts with a little better hardware performance than Galaxy Note 5, and although they both have a 4 GB RAM, the Xiaomi Mi Max also has a greater number of cores.
