Comparison review
The Galaxy Note5 is a little bit better than Xiaomi Mi Max, with a general score of 80.2 against 77.5. The Galaxy Note5 design has the same thickness than the Xiaomi Mi Max, but it's lighter. The Galaxy Note5 features a bit better CPU than Xiaomi Mi Max. They have the same number of cores and the same RAM amount.
The Galaxy Note5 has a much better looking display than Xiaomi Mi Max, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a better resolution of 1440 x 2560 and a greater screen density. The Samsung Galaxy Note5 has a bit better camera than Xiaomi Mi Max, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates, a back-facing camera with a 16 megapixels and the same (4K) video quality, the Samsung Galaxy Note5 also has a larger diafragm aperture to capture better low-light photos and video.
The Xiaomi Mi Max counts with a very superior memory capacity for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Note5, because it has a slot for an external memory card that allows a maximum of 256 GB and 128 GB internal memory. The Xiaomi Mi Max features a much longer battery lifetime than Galaxy Note5, because it has a 4850mAh battery size against 3000mAh.
