The Galaxy Note7 has a general score of 79.5, which is a little bit better than the Xiaomi Mi Max's 77.5 score. Galaxy Note7's body is lighter but a bit thicker than Xiaomi Mi Max, and both of them were released with only a couple of months difference. The Galaxy Note7 features a much better looking screen than Xiaomi Mi Max, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a higher pixels density and a higher 1440 x 2560px resolution.
Galaxy Note7 and Xiaomi Mi Max count with quite similar CPUs, and although the Galaxy Note7 has a lower number of cores (but faster), they both have 4 GB of RAM. The Xiaomi Mi Max counts with just a bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy Note7, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not recommended for taking pictures and/or video in poorly lited environments, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality and the same video frame rates, the Xiaomi Mi Max also counts with a way more mega pixels back camera.
Xiaomi Mi Max counts with a lot bigger storage to store more apps and games than Galaxy Note7, and although they both have a SD card slot that holds a maximum of 256 GB, the Xiaomi Mi Max also has more internal memory. Xiaomi Mi Max features a really longer battery lifetime than Galaxy Note7, because it has a 4850mAh battery size against 3500mAh.
