Samsung Galaxy S5 is a bit better than the Xiaomi Mi Max, getting an 80.8 score against 77.5. Samsung Galaxy S5's body is a lot lighter than the Xiaomi Mi Max, although it is just a little thicker and was released just a little more than a year before. The Galaxy S5 counts with a little faster CPU than Xiaomi Mi Max, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM and lesser cpu cores , it also counts with an extra graphics co-processor.
The Galaxy S5 counts with a lot better looking display than Xiaomi Mi Max, because although it has a way smaller screen, and they both have the same exact 1920 x 1080 resolution, the Galaxy S5 also counts with a way better screen pixel density. Samsung Galaxy S5 shoots slightly better videos and photos than Xiaomi Mi Max, although it has a tinier camera aperture, they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, a same resolution back facing camera and the same 30 fps video frame rate.
The Xiaomi Mi Max counts with a very superior storage capacity to install games and applications than Samsung Galaxy S5, because it has 128 GB internal storage and a SD memory card expansion slot that holds a maximum of 256 GB. Xiaomi Mi Max counts with a much better battery lifetime than Galaxy S5, because it has a 4850mAh battery size instead of 2800mAh.
