Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge has a general score of 85.7, which is much better than Xiaomi Mi Max's 77.5 overall score. The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge construction is way lighter and just a little bit thinner than Xiaomi Mi Max, even though it was released a little bit more than a year before. Galaxy S6 Edge has a greater performance than Xiaomi Mi Max, because although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, and they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy S6 Edge also counts with an extra GPU and a 64-bits processor.
The Galaxy S6 Edge counts with a much better looking display than Xiaomi Mi Max, because although it has a much smaller screen, it also counts with a better 2560 x 1440 resolution and a much better screen density. The Xiaomi Mi Max features a very superior memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy S6 Edge, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage, the Xiaomi Mi Max also has an external memory card slot that supports up to 256 GB.
Xiaomi Mi Max takes better pictures and videos than Galaxy S6 Edge, although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not favorable for taking pictures and videos in low-light situations, they both have a 16 megapixels camera, the same video resolution and the same video frame rates. The Xiaomi Mi Max counts with a very superior battery lifetime than Galaxy S6 Edge, because it has an 87% more battery capacity.
