Xiaomi Mi Max is a little bit better than the Samsung Galaxy S7 Active, getting a 77.5 score against 75.8. The Xiaomi Mi Max construction is incredibly thinner but a bit heavier than Samsung Galaxy S7 Active, and they were only released with a couple months difference. The Galaxy S7 Active has a much more vibrant screen than Xiaomi Mi Max, because although it has a really smaller display, it also counts with much more pixels per inch of display and a better 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution.
Samsung Galaxy S7 Active counts with a processor that is just as good as the Xiaomi Mi Max one, and although the Samsung Galaxy S7 Active has an inferior number of cores (although they are faster), they both have 4 GB of RAM memory. Xiaomi Mi Max captures clearer pictures and videos than Galaxy S7 Active, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not favorable for shooting images and videos in low-light environments, and they both have the same video frame rate and the same (4K) video definition, the Xiaomi Mi Max also counts with a back camera with much more megapixels.
The Xiaomi Mi Max has a much better memory for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy S7 Active, because it has an external memory card slot that allows up to 256 GB and 96 GB more internal storage. Xiaomi Mi Max has improved battery life than Galaxy S7 Active, because it has a 21% bigger battery capacity.
