Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy S8 Active has a score of 81.9, which is just a bit better than the Xiaomi Mi Max's 77.5 global score. Samsung Galaxy S8 Active is a newer device than Xiaomi Mi Max, but it is just a little bit heavier and thicker. The Galaxy S8 Active features a much better looking display than Xiaomi Mi Max, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a lot better number of pixels per inch in the screen and a much higher 1440 x 2960 resolution.
The Xiaomi Mi Max counts with a way bigger memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy S8 Active, and although they both have an external memory slot that allows up to 256 GB, the Xiaomi Mi Max also has 128 GB internal memory. Galaxy S8 Active counts with a bit better CPU than Xiaomi Mi Max. They have the same number of cores and a 4 GB RAM memory.
The Galaxy S8 Active counts with a bit better camera than Xiaomi Mi Max, because although it has a worse video definition and a much lower 12 MP resolution back camera, it also counts with a bigger camera aperture for better photography and video in low-light situations. Xiaomi Mi Max features longer battery life than Galaxy S8 Active, because it has a 4850mAh battery capacity instead of 4000mAh.
