Comparison review
Xperia Z5 is a little bit better than the Xiaomi Mi Max, getting a score of 77.6 against 77.5. The Xperia Z5 is a a little bit thinner and much lighter device than the Xiaomi Mi Max, even when they were released with only a couple months difference. Sony Xperia Z5 features a more vivid screen than Xiaomi Mi Max, because although it has a bit smaller display, and they both have exactly the same 1920 x 1080px resolution, the Sony Xperia Z5 also counts with a just a little greater screen density.
Xiaomi Mi Max has a much greater memory to install applications and games than Xperia Z5, because it has 96 GB more internal storage and a slot for an SD memory card that admits a maximum of 256 GB. The Xperia Z5 counts with a bit faster CPU than Xiaomi Mi Max, because although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, and they both have 8 cores, the Xperia Z5 also counts with an extra graphics processor.
Sony Xperia Z5 takes slightly better pictures and videos than Xiaomi Mi Max, and although they both have the same video definition and the same video frame rates, the Sony Xperia Z5 also has a larger aperture to capture better captures in low light situations and a camera in the back with a lot higher resolution.
Xiaomi Mi Max has a much better battery performance than Sony Xperia Z5, because it has a 67 percent larger battery size.
