Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite is a bit better than Xiaomi Mi Max, with a score of 77.7 against 77.5. The Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite body has the same thickness than Xiaomi Mi Max, but it's somewhat lighter. Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite features a little better processing power than Xiaomi Mi Max, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite also has a higher amount of RAM.
Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite features a little sharper screen than Xiaomi Mi Max, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a just a bit better number of pixels per display inch and a little bit higher 1080 x 2280 resolution. The Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite takes just a bit better videos and photos than Xiaomi Mi Max, because although it has a lower (4K) video quality and a much worse 12 mega-pixels resolution camera, it also counts with a larger diafragm aperture to take better low light images and video.
The Xiaomi Mi Max has a much greater memory to store more games and applications than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal memory, the Xiaomi Mi Max also has an external SD slot that supports up to 256 GB. Xiaomi Mi Max counts with a much better battery performance than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, because it has 4850mAh of battery capacity against 3350mAh.
