The iPhone 8 Plus has an overall score of 87.1, which is a little bit better than the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2's 81.2 global score. IPhone 8 Plus's design has the same thickness than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, but it's just a little bit heavier. The iPhone 8 Plus has a little sharper screen than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, although it has a little inferior pixels amount in each screen inch, a little lower resolution of 1080 x 1920 and a bit smaller display.
The iPhone 8 Plus features as much memory to install games and applications as Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, both of them have equal 256 GB internal storage. IPhone 8 Plus counts with a little bit better performance than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, because although it has a lower number of cores and they are also slower and lesser RAM, it also counts with a 64 bits CPU.
Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 features improved battery life than iPhone 8 Plus, because it has a 3400mAh battery capacity. The Apple iPhone 8 Plus features a bit better camera than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, because although it has a smaller back-facing camera sensor taking worse quality images and videos, and they both have the same (4K) video definition and the same resolution back-facing camera, the Apple iPhone 8 Plus also counts with faster 60 frames per second video frame rates and a larger aperture.
Although Apple iPhone 8 Plus is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Xiaomi Mi MIX 2. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy Apple iPhone 8 Plus, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and get the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, resigning some features and specs.
