Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 has an overall score of 81.2, which is a bit better than Asus ROG Phone's 77.1 global score. The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 is an older phone than the Asus ROG Phone, but Xiaomi managed to make it a little lighter and thinner anyway. Asus ROG Phone counts with just a bit better screen than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2. They have the same number of pixels per inch of screen, exactly the same resolution of 1080 x 2160px and a display with the same size.
Asus ROG Phone features a lot bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, because it has 256 GB more internal memory. The Asus ROG Phone counts with just a bit better hardware performance than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Asus ROG Phone also has a higher amount of RAM memory.
Asus ROG Phone features longer battery lifetime than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, because it has an 18 percent greater battery size. Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 has a greater camera than Asus ROG Phone, although it has slower 30 fps video frame rate, a tinier back-facing camera sensor capturing lower quality videos and photos and a tinier aperture which is not so good for low-light photography and videos, they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution.
Even being the best phone of the ones we are comparing, Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 is also very cheap compared to the other phones.
