Comparison review
The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 is slightly better than the HTC One M9, with a score of 81.2 against 77.7. Xiaomi Mi MIX 2's body is noticeably newer and noticeably thinner, but heavier than HTC One M9. HTC One M9 counts with a better display than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, because although it has a little lower resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and a quite smaller display, it also counts with a quite higher display density.
HTC One M9 features a bit more powerful CPU than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, because although it has less RAM, and they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the HTC One M9 also counts with a 64-bits CPU and an extra graphics processing unit. Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 has a much greater memory capacity for games and applications than HTC One M9, because although it has no external memory card slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal memory capacity.
Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 features greater battery performance than HTC One M9, because it has 3400mAh of battery capacity against 2840mAh. HTC One M9 counts with a little bit better camera than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not favorable for capturing images and video in low-light environments, and they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the HTC One M9 also counts with a way higher 20 MP resolution camera and a bigger back-facing camera sensor shooting better quality photographs and videos.
Although Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the HTC One M9, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as HTC One M9. If you prefer to save some money, you can get HTC One M9, letting go a few features and specifications, but you'll get the most out of your money.
