Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 is just a bit better than HTC U11, getting an 81.2 score against 77.6. The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 construction is just a bit heavier but just a little thinner than the HTC U11, and both were only released with a few months difference. HTC U11 features a little more vivid screen than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with more pixels per inch of display and a higher 1440 x 2560px resolution.
Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 counts with a bit better hardware performance than HTC U11, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 also has 2 GB more RAM memory. HTC U11 features a slightly better camera than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, and although they both have the same video frame rates, the same video definition and the same resolution back facing camera, the HTC U11 also has a bigger aperture and a bigger back camera sensor shooting better quality pictures and videos.
Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 counts with a much greater storage for applications and games than HTC U11, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal memory capacity. The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 counts with a bit superior battery lifetime than HTC U11, because it has a 3400mAh battery size.
Although Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than HTC U11, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the HTC U11. If you want to save a few dollars, you can buy HTC U11, letting go a couple features, but you'll get the most with your savings.
