Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 is just a bit better than the Huawei Mate 20, getting a general score of 81.2 against 79.5. The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 is an older phone than the Huawei Mate 20, but it is just a little thinner and just a little bit lighter anyway. The Huawei Mate 20 features a bit sharper screen than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, because although it has a bit lower screen pixels density, it also counts with a little bit bigger screen and a little bit higher 1080 x 2244 resolution.
Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 and Huawei Mate 20 both count with similar CPUs, and although the Huawei Mate 20 has 2 GB less RAM memory, they both have 8 processing cores. The Huawei Mate 20 shoots slightly better pictures and videos than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, and although they both have a same resolution camera, the same 3840x2160 video quality and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the Huawei Mate 20 also has a lot larger sensor providing a way better image quality and a bigger diafragm aperture to take better low-light photos and video.
The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 counts with a superior memory to store more apps and games than Huawei Mate 20, because it has more internal storage capacity. Huawei Mate 20 features longer battery duration than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity instead of 3400mAh.
Although Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 is a better device, it costs more money than the Huawei Mate 20, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Huawei Mate 20. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can buy the Huawei Mate 20, letting go a couple features, but you will get the most with your savings.
