The Huawei Mate X is much better than the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, having an 89.4 score against 81.2. Huawei Mate X's design is much newer, but much heavier and much thicker than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2. Huawei Mate X has a bit faster processor than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Huawei Mate X also has a larger amount of RAM.
The Huawei Mate X has a bit better screen than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, because it has a little better quantity of pixels in each display inch, a much larger display and a lot better 2200 x 2480 resolution. Huawei Mate X counts with a much greater storage capacity for apps and games than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, because it has more internal storage.
The Huawei Mate X features improved battery performance than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, because it has a 32 percent greater battery size. Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 captures clearer photographs and videos than Huawei Mate X, although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not good for low light photography, a way tinier camera sensor giving a much lower image quality and a back-facing camera with way less MP.
Although Huawei Mate X is a better device, it costs a lot more than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Xiaomi Mi MIX 2. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy Huawei Mate X, else you can save some dollars and buy the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, giving up a couple features and specifications.
