Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 is a little bit better than Huawei nova 5T, with a global score of 81.2 against 80.8. The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 is an older and just a little bit heavier phone than the Huawei nova 5T, but Xiaomi could make it a bit thinner anyway. The Huawei nova 5T has a bit more vivid display than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, because it has a slightly higher resolution of 1080 x 2340px, a bit greater display density and a bit bigger display.
The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 counts with a much bigger memory for applications and games than Huawei nova 5T, because it has 256 GB internal memory. Huawei nova 5T counts with a processing unit that's very similar to Xiaomi Mi MIX 2's CPU, they have 8 CPU cores and a 6 GB RAM. The Huawei nova 5T captures much clearer pictures and videos than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the Huawei nova 5T also has a much bigger sensor capturing way better quality photos, a way more MP camera in the back and a bigger aperture.
The Huawei nova 5T counts with a bit longer battery duration than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, because it has a 10 percent greater battery capacity.
Although Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Huawei nova 5T, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Huawei nova 5T. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, else you can save some dollars and get the Huawei nova 5T, giving up some specifications.
