Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 is a little bit better than LG Q8, having a score of 81.2 against 77.2. The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 design is much heavier but just a little bit thinner than the LG Q8, and both were only released 3 months apart. The LG Q8 has a brighter display than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a better pixel count in each display inch and a better resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels.
Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 counts with a bit more storage for applications, games, photos and videos than LG Q8, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal storage. The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 has a bit better CPU than LG Q8, because it has a larger number of cores and more RAM.
The LG Q8 captures slightly better pictures and videos than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition and the same video frame rate, the LG Q8 also has a larger aperture to capture better photography and videos in low light situations, a bigger back-facing camera sensor providing a better image quality and a back camera with lot more mega-pixels.
The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 has just a bit longer battery life than LG Q8, because it has 3400mAh of battery capacity.
