Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 is just a bit better than the Moto G8 Power, with an 81.2 score against 76. Xiaomi Mi MIX 2's construction is incredibly thinner and just a bit lighter than Moto G8 Power, even though it was released 3 years before. The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 has a bit better CPU than Motorola Moto G8 Power, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 also has more RAM memory.
Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 counts with a bit more vivid screen than Moto G8 Power, because although it has a little bit smaller display and a quite lower resolution of 1080 x 2160px, it also counts with a bit better pixel density. Motorola Moto G8 Power takes a little bit better pictures and videos than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, and although they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rates and the same video resolution, the Motorola Moto G8 Power also has a larger back-facing camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors, a bigger diafragm aperture and a lot higher 16 megapixels resolution back facing camera.
Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 has a greater memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Motorola Moto G8 Power, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 256 GB internal storage. Moto G8 Power features a much better battery performance than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity instead of 3400mAh.
Although Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Moto G8 Power, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Moto G8 Power. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can buy the Moto G8 Power, and give up a few specs and features, but you will get the most with your savings.
