Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 is slightly better than the Galaxy Alpha, with a overall score of 81.2 against 76.3. Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 is a heavier and somewhat thicker phone than Galaxy Alpha. The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 has a bit faster processor than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics co-processor, it also counts with more RAM memory and more processing cores (although slower).
Galaxy Alpha counts with a little bit better looking display than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, although it has a bit inferior pixels amount per display inch, a way worse resolution of 1280 x 720 and a much smaller screen. Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 counts with a lot bigger storage capacity for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, because it has 256 GB internal storage capacity.
Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 takes slightly better photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition, a back-facing camera with a 12 mega-pixels resolution and the same video frame rates, the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 also has a larger aperture for better photography and videos in low-light situations.
Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 has a way better battery performance than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, because it has 3400mAh of battery capacity.
Although Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Galaxy Alpha, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Galaxy Alpha. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, else you can save a couple dollars and buy the Galaxy Alpha, resigning a couple features and specs.
