Comparison review
The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 is just a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy Note 5, getting an 81.2 score against 79.3. The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 is a just a little heavier cellphone than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, but both are 0.3inches thick. The Galaxy Note 5 has a brighter screen than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a better pixel count in each inch of screen and a higher resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels.
Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 counts with a better performing processing unit than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, because it has a higher number of cores and a larger amount of RAM memory. Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 has a way bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, because it has 256 GB internal memory capacity.
Galaxy Note 5 shoots a little bit better photographs and videos than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the Galaxy Note 5 also has a bigger aperture, a bigger camera sensor capturing higher quality photographs and a back camera with lot more megapixels.
The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 has a bit superior battery life than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, because it has a 13% more battery capacity.
Although Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Galaxy Note 5, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Galaxy Note 5. If you are trying to save some money, you can buy the Galaxy Note 5, giving up a couple features, but you will get the most out of your savings.
