Comparison review
The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 is slightly better than Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition, getting an 81.2 score against 80.4. Although the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 and the Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition were released only a couple of months apart, Xiaomi Mi MIX 2's construction is a little thinner but also just a little bit heavier.
Galaxy Note Fan Edition counts with a bit better looking display than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a higher 1440 x 2560 resolution and a higher quantity of pixels per inch in the display. Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 has a bit better processor than Galaxy Note Fan Edition, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 also has a larger amount of RAM.
Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 counts with a very superior memory for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with more internal memory. Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 has a bit superior battery duration than Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition, because it has a 6 percent greater battery size.
The Galaxy Note Fan Edition has a camera that is very similar to Xiaomi Mi MIX 2's camera, and although the Galaxy Note Fan Edition has a bigger aperture to capture better photography and videos in low-light environments and a bigger back camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors, they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition, the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same resolution back-facing camera.
Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 costs a bit more than Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition, but it's still a great deal, as you can get a lot more features for that extra money.
