The Samsung Galaxy Note8 has a global score of 83, which is a little bit better than the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2's 81.2 global score. Despite being the best in this review, Samsung Galaxy Note8's body is just a little bit heavier and thicker than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2. Galaxy Note8 counts with a slightly better looking screen than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, because it has more pixels per inch in the display, a better 1440 x 2960 resolution and a little bit larger display.
Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 has a much bigger memory capacity to install applications and games than Galaxy Note8, because although it has no external memory card slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal memory capacity. Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 features a little bit better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy Note8. They have a 6 GB RAM and 8 cpu cores.
The Galaxy Note8 counts with a bit better camera than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality, a 12 megapixels back camera and the same video frame rate, the Galaxy Note8 also has a bigger back-facing camera sensor capturing better quality pictures and a bigger diafragm aperture to capture better low-light photos and videos.
