The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 has a score of 81.2, which is slightly better than Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus's 78.1 general score. Even though the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 is a lot heavier than the Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, it's a little thinner and also much newer. Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 counts with a bit better hardware performance than Galaxy S5 Plus, because although it has doesn't have an extra GPU, it also counts with a higher number of cores and a larger amount of RAM.
Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus features a better looking screen than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, because although it has a little smaller screen and a little bit lower resolution of 1920 x 1080px, it also counts with a little bit greater pixel density. Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus has a bit better camera than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not favorable for low light captures, and they both have the same video resolution and the same video frame rate, the Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus also counts with a larger camera sensor which offers a better image and video quality and a camera with lot more mega pixels.
The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 counts with a much bigger memory to install games and applications than Galaxy S5 Plus, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal memory. Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 counts with improved battery performance than Galaxy S5 Plus, because it has 3400mAh of battery capacity.
Although Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Galaxy S5 Plus, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Galaxy S5 Plus. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and get the Galaxy S5 Plus, resigning some specifications.
