Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 is just a bit better than Galaxy S6 Active, getting a score of 81.2 against 80.9. Samsung Galaxy S6 Active counts with a little bit better performance than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, because although it has less RAM, and they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Samsung Galaxy S6 Active also counts with a graphics processing unit and a 64-bits processing unit.
Galaxy S6 Active features a much sharper screen than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a better resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and a higher screen density. The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 features a very superior storage for apps and games than Samsung Galaxy S6 Active, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with more internal storage.
The Galaxy S6 Active counts with a bit longer battery life than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, because it has a 3500mAh battery size. Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 shoots much clearer videos and photos than Galaxy S6 Active, although it has a smaller back-facing camera sensor which offers a worse photo and video quality, a much less MP back facing camera, a tinier camera aperture which is not favorable for low light images and a worse video resolution.
Although Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Galaxy S6 Active, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Galaxy S6 Active. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can buy Galaxy S6 Active, giving up a couple features and specs, but you will get the most with your savings.
