Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 has an overall score of 81.2, which is a bit better than the Galaxy S7 edge's overall score of 78.1. The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 is a heavier phone than Galaxy S7 edge, but both are equally thin. Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 features a bit faster processing unit than Galaxy S7 edge, because it has a larger amount of RAM memory and more cpu cores.
Galaxy S7 edge counts with a bit better display than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a better 1440 x 2560 resolution and a greater screen density. The Samsung Galaxy S7 edge features a slightly better camera than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate, the same video quality and a 12 mega-pixels resolution back camera, the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge also has a larger sensor taking higher quality photos and videos and a larger aperture for better photography and videos in low-light environments.
The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 features a way bigger memory capacity to install games and applications than Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with 224 GB more internal storage. Samsung Galaxy S7 edge features just a bit longer battery lifetime than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, because it has a 6 percent bigger battery capacity.
Although Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Galaxy S7 edge, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Galaxy S7 edge. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, else you can save a couple dollars and get the Galaxy S7 edge, letting go a couple specifications.
