Comparison review
The Galaxy S8 is a bit better than the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, getting a global score of 81.7 against 81.2. The Galaxy S8 construction is a little thicker but somewhat lighter than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, and they were released with only a couple of months difference. Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 features a bit better processor than Samsung Galaxy S8, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 also has more RAM.
Samsung Galaxy S8 counts with a bit more vivid display than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a greater pixel density and a higher resolution of 1440 x 2960 pixels. Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 has a much better memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy S8, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 256 GB internal storage capacity.
The Samsung Galaxy S8 shoots slightly better pictures and videos than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate, the same (4K) video definition and a same resolution back facing camera, the Samsung Galaxy S8 also has a larger sensor taking higher quality pictures and a larger aperture for better low light images.
Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 features a bit better battery duration than Galaxy S8, because it has a 13 percent greater battery capacity.
Galaxy S8 not only is the best phones between the ones we are comparing, but it's also by far the cheapest, which makes it a great choice.
