Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 is just a bit better than the Xperia XZ Premium, with an 81.2 score against 79.8. Although Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 and the Xperia XZ Premium were released only 4 months apart, Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 is a little lighter and a little bit thinner. The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 counts with a bit faster CPU than Sony Xperia XZ Premium, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 also has a greater amount of RAM memory.
Xperia XZ Premium has an incredibly better looking display than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a way higher display density and a much better resolution of 2160 x 3840 pixels. Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 features a very superior storage capacity to store more games and applications than Xperia XZ Premium, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with 192 GB more internal storage.
Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 has just a little better battery lifetime than Sony Xperia XZ Premium, because it has a 3400mAh battery capacity. The Xperia XZ Premium features a slightly better camera than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, and although they both have a same size aperture, the same video frame rates and the same (4K) video resolution, the Xperia XZ Premium also has a lot larger back camera sensor providing a much better image quality and a back-facing camera with lot more MP.
