Comparison review
The Xperia XZ2 Premium has a general score of 82.2, which is just a bit better than the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2's overall score of 81.2. The Xperia XZ2 Premium is a newer cellphone than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, but it is noticeably heavier and noticeably thicker. The Xperia XZ2 Premium has just a bit better performance than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2. Both of them have 8 cores and a 6 GB RAM.
The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium features a much more vibrant screen than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a way higher 2160 x 3840px resolution and a lot more pixels per screen inch. The Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with a bit better camera than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same video quality, the Xperia XZ2 Premium also has a bigger diafragm aperture, a back facing camera with a much higher 19 MP resolution and a much larger camera sensor providing a much higher image quality.
The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 has a greater storage capacity for games and applications than Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with 256 GB internal storage. The Xperia XZ2 Premium features a little longer battery performance than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, because it has a 4 percent greater battery capacity.
Although Xperia XZ2 Premium is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Xiaomi Mi MIX 2. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy the Xperia XZ2 Premium, but if you don't you can save some money and buy the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, giving up some specifications.
