Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s has a global score of 83.8, which is a little bit better than Galaxy Alpha's overall score of 76.3. Despite being the best phone we are comparing here, Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s is a a lot heavier and thicker phone than the Galaxy Alpha. The Galaxy Alpha counts with a bit sharper display than Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s, although it has a way lower 1280 x 720px resolution, a lot smaller display and a just a bit worse screen density.
Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s has a much better storage for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, because it has 256 GB internal storage. The Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s features just a bit better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, because although it has doesn't have a GPU, it also counts with a larger amount of RAM and a greater number of cores.
Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s counts with just a bit better camera than Galaxy Alpha, and although they both have a 12 megapixels back camera, the same video frame rate and the same (4K) video quality, the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s also has a bigger aperture. The Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s has a much better battery performance than Galaxy Alpha, because it has 3400mAh of battery capacity against 1860mAh.
Although Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Galaxy Alpha, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Galaxy Alpha. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can buy the Galaxy Alpha, and give up a few specs and features, but you will get the most with your savings.
