Comparison review
The Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s has a score of 83.8, which is a bit better than the Galaxy Note8's global score of 83. Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s's design is just a little bit lighter and just a bit thinner than the Galaxy Note8, although they were released only 7 months apart. The Galaxy Note8 counts with just a bit better looking display than Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s, because it has a little bit bigger screen, a better resolution of 1440 x 2960 pixels and a higher screen pixel density.
The Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s features a much bigger memory for games and applications than Galaxy Note8, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with more internal storage capacity. Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s counts with a bit better CPU than Samsung Galaxy Note8, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s also has 2 GB more RAM.
Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s features a little better battery performance than Galaxy Note8, because it has 3400mAh of battery capacity. The Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s and the Samsung Galaxy Note8 count with very similar cameras, and although the Samsung Galaxy Note8 has a bigger aperture, they both have a 0.39 inches sensor, the same resolution camera in the back, the same 3840x2160 video resolution and the same video frame rate.
Although Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s is a better device, it is way more expensive than Galaxy Note8, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Galaxy Note8. If you are trying to save some money, you can get Galaxy Note8, giving up a few features and specifications, but you will get the most out of your budget.
