Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s is slightly better than Galaxy S5 Plus, with an 83.8 score against 78.1. The Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s is a a lot heavier cellphone than the Galaxy S5 Plus, but both of them are equally thin. The Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s counts with a bit faster processing unit than Galaxy S5 Plus, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processor, it also counts with a larger number of cores and 6 GB more RAM.
The Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus features a better display than Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s, because although it has a little smaller display and a bit lower 1920 x 1080px resolution, it also counts with a just a bit greater screen density. Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s has a much better storage to store more apps and games than Galaxy S5 Plus, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal memory capacity.
Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s has superior battery lifetime than Galaxy S5 Plus, because it has a 3400mAh battery size. Galaxy S5 Plus's camera is very similar to Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s's camera, because although the Galaxy S5 Plus has a tinier back-facing camera sensor capturing lower quality videos and photos and a smaller camera aperture, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, it also counts with a camera with a much higher resolution.
Although Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s is a better device, it costs a lot more than Galaxy S5 Plus, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Galaxy S5 Plus. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can buy Galaxy S5 Plus, giving up a few specs and features, but you'll get the most out of your money.
