Comparison review
The Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s has an overall score of 83.8, which is a little bit better than Samsung Galaxy S8's 81.7 general score. Although Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s is newer than the Samsung Galaxy S8, it's just a little bit thicker and heavier. Galaxy S8 features a bit sharper screen than Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with more pixels per display inch and a higher 1440 x 2960 pixels resolution.
The Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s has a superior memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy S8, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with more internal memory capacity. The Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s counts with a bit faster processing unit than Galaxy S8, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s also has a higher amount of RAM memory.
Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s features a little longer battery duration than Galaxy S8, because it has a 13 percent greater battery capacity. The Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s and the Galaxy S8 both feature extremely similar cameras, and although the Galaxy S8 has a bigger diafragm aperture to take better low-light photos, they both have the same (4K) video resolution, a same size camera sensor, the same video frame rate and the same resolution back facing camera.
Although Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Galaxy S8, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Galaxy S8. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s, otherwise you can save some money and buy the Galaxy S8, resigning some features and specifications.
