Comparison review
The Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s is just a bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, with an 83.8 score against 81.1. The Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s is an extremely older cellphone than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, but it's a bit thinner and just a little bit lighter anyway. Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s features a slightly better looking display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, because although it has a little worse resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels and a bit smaller display, it also counts with a bit higher quantity of pixels per inch in the screen.
Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s features just a bit better hardware performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s also has 2 GB more RAM. Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s has a greater storage capacity for applications and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal storage capacity.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro counts with a very superior battery duration than Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s, because it has a 48% greater battery size. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro captures much better videos and photos than Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not favorable for low-light captures and videos, and they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rate and the same (4K) video quality, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro also counts with a lot larger back-facing camera sensor providing a much better image quality and a back-facing camera with a much better resolution.
Although Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can buy Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, giving up a few specs and features, but you'll get the most out of your savings.
