Comparison review
The Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 has a general score of 83.8, which is a bit better than Asus ZenFone 8's score of 83. The Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 construction is just a bit thinner than the Asus ZenFone 8, although it's much heavier and was released many years before. Asus ZenFone 8 counts with a little more vivid display than Xiaomi Mi Mix 3, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a little bit better display density, much more brightness and a bit higher resolution of 1080 x 2400.
The Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 counts with much more storage capacity to store more apps and games than Asus ZenFone 8, because it has 256 GB internal storage capacity. Asus ZenFone 8's processing unit is just as good as the CPU in Xiaomi Mi Mix 3, and although the Asus ZenFone 8 has a smaller amount of RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores.
Asus ZenFone 8 has a much better camera than Xiaomi Mi Mix 3, and although they both have a F1.8 diafragm aperture, the Asus ZenFone 8 also has a way higher video quality, a lot larger back-facing camera sensor which provides a much better image and video quality and a way more mega-pixels camera in the back.
The Asus ZenFone 8 counts with improved battery life than Xiaomi Mi Mix 3, because it has a 4000mAh battery size instead of 3200mAh.
