Comparison review
The Galaxy M40 is a bit better than Xiaomi Mi Mix 3, with an 85 score against 83.8. The Galaxy M40 body is just a bit thinner and noticeably lighter than the Xiaomi Mi Mix 3, even when both of them were released only 8 months apart. Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 features a bit more powerful processor than Galaxy M40, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 also has more RAM.
The Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 has a bit sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy M40, because although it has a just a little less pixels per inch of display, and they both have an equal 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution, the Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 also counts with a little bit bigger screen. Samsung Galaxy M40 has a slightly better storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi Mix 3, because although it has only 128 GB internal storage, it also counts with a SD memory card expansion slot that admits a maximum of 512 GB.
Samsung Galaxy M40 counts with a little better battery performance than Xiaomi Mi Mix 3, because it has a 3500mAh battery size instead of 3200mAh. The Galaxy M40 captures a bit better photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi Mix 3, because although it has a tinier sensor shooting lower quality videos and photos and worse video frame rate, and they both have the same (4K) video quality, the Galaxy M40 also counts with a larger diafragm aperture and a way better resolution camera in the back.
