Comparison review
The Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 is just a bit better than the Xiaomi Mi 6, getting an 83.8 score against 76.5. Even though Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 is newer than Xiaomi Mi 6, it is thicker and incredibly heavier. Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 counts with a bit better hardware performance than Xiaomi Mi 6, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 also has 2 GB more RAM memory.
The Xiaomi Mi 6 counts with a little more vivid screen than Xiaomi Mi Mix 3, because although it has a quite lower resolution of 1080 x 1920 and a little bit smaller display, and they both have the same brightness, the Xiaomi Mi 6 also counts with a just a bit more pixels per display inch. Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 features a much bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Xiaomi Mi 6, because it has 128 GB more internal storage capacity.
The Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 has a bit better camera than Xiaomi Mi 6, and although they both have a same size aperture and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 also has higher 60 frames per second video frame rate, a higher 12.2 megapixels resolution back facing camera and a larger back camera sensor providing a higher image quality.
