Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 is slightly better than Xiaomi Mi 9 SE, with a global score of 89 against 81.4. Both phones in this review work with Android operating system, but the Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 has an older 11 version and Xiaomi Mi 9 SE has Android 9.0 Pie version. Xiaomi Mi Mix 4's body is noticeably newer, but notably heavier and a bit thicker than Xiaomi Mi 9 SE.
The Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 features a bit more powerful processing unit than Xiaomi Mi 9 SE, and although they both have 8 cores, the Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 also has 2 GB more RAM. Xiaomi Mi 9 SE counts with just a bit better screen than Xiaomi Mi Mix 4, because although it has a little lower resolution of 1080 x 2340 and a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a little better pixel number in each inch in the screen.
The Xiaomi Mi 9 SE counts with as much memory capacity for games and applications as the Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 one, both of them have exactly the same 128 GB internal memory. Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 counts with a much better battery life than Xiaomi Mi 9 SE, because it has a 4500mAh battery size against 3070mAh.
Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 shoots much clearer photographs and videos than Xiaomi Mi 9 SE, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not favorable for low light captures, it also counts with a much larger sensor which offers a much better image and video quality, a much more mega-pixels camera in the back and a much better video quality.
