Comparison review
The Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha is a little bit better than Huawei P30, with a global score of 88.9 against 81.7. These phones include the same Android 10 OS, so they should give you the same operating system features. Although it's the best in this review, it must be told that it is also much heavier and notably thicker.
The Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha counts with a little better processing power than Huawei P30, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha also has more RAM. Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha and Huawei P30 both feature really similar displays, because although the Huawei P30 has a lot worse resolution of 1080 x 2340 and a lot smaller display, it also counts with a little bit better pixel density.
Huawei P30 captures better videos and photos than Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha, although it has a tinier aperture which is not recommended for capturing images and videos in low-light environments, a way lower 40 MP resolution camera in the back, a way tinier back camera sensor taking less light and washed colors and a worse 3840x2160 (4K) video quality.
The Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha counts with a superior storage capacity for games and applications than Huawei P30, because it has 384 GB more internal storage. Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha has just a little better battery life than Huawei P30, because it has an 11% greater battery size.
