Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha is a little bit better than Huawei P40, getting an 88.9 score against 86.4. The Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha body is somewhat thicker and notably heavier than Huawei P40. Both of these devices come with the same Android 10 OS (operating system). The Huawei P40 has just a bit better looking display than Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha, because although it has a lot worse resolution of 1080 x 2340 and a way smaller screen, it also counts with a little better screen pixels density.
Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha has a little faster CPU than Huawei P40, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha also has a greater amount of RAM memory. The Huawei P40 shoots much better pictures and videos than Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha, because although it has a way less megapixels back camera, a lower 3840x2160 video definition and a tinier aperture which is not so good for low light photography and video, it also counts with a bigger sensor providing a better image quality.
Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha has a very superior storage capacity for games and applications than Huawei P40, because it has more internal memory capacity. Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha features a bit longer battery life than Huawei P40, because it has 4050mAh of battery capacity instead of 3800mAh.
