Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha has a global score of 88.9, which is slightly better than Galaxy A31's overall score of 81.3. Even though Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha is better than Galaxy A31, we must note that it's also a lot heavier and thicker. Both devices in this comparison review include the same Android 10 OS (Operating System).
The Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha features just a bit better performance than Samsung Galaxy A31, and although they both have 8 cores, the Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha also has a larger amount of RAM memory. The Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha has a slightly better display than Galaxy A31, because although it has a little bit worse count of pixels per screen inch, it also counts with a larger screen and a better resolution of 2088 x 2250 pixels.
Samsung Galaxy A31 shoots just a bit better pictures and videos than Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha, although it has a camera in the back with much less MP, a way lower 1920x1080 video resolution, a much tinier camera sensor which gives a way lower photo and video quality and a tinier diafragm aperture which is not favorable for taking images or video in poorly lited environments.
The Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha counts with a way bigger storage capacity to install games and applications than Samsung Galaxy A31, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with 512 GB internal memory capacity. Galaxy A31 features better battery performance than Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha, because it has a 23 percent more battery size.
