Comparison review
The Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha is slightly better than the Galaxy Note 3, getting a general score of 88.9 against 81.2. Even though Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha is much newer than the Galaxy Note 3, it is somewhat thicker and heavier. Both of these devices use Android OS (Operating System), but Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha has the newer 10 version and Galaxy Note 3 has Android 5.0, giving you some extra features and improved performance.
Galaxy Note 3 features a little sharper display than Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha, although it has a way smaller display, a bit inferior pixels number per inch in the display and a way worse 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution. The Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha has a much greater storage for apps and games than Galaxy Note 3, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with 448 GB more internal memory capacity.
The Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha counts with a little better processing power than Samsung Galaxy Note 3, because although it has doesn't have a graphics co-processor, it also counts with a greater amount of RAM memory and a greater number of cores. Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha features superior battery life than Samsung Galaxy Note 3, because it has a 27 percent more battery size.
The Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha has a little bit better camera than Galaxy Note 3, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality and the same video frame rate, the Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha also has a much larger camera sensor shooting much higher quality photos, a lot more MP camera and a much larger aperture for better low-light images and video.
